Hello! My name is Wendy Cohan. I have been a nurse and health educator for nearly two decades, and my business is Gluten Free Choice.

As a Gluten-Free Nurse Navigator, I help people learn to follow a gluten-free diet and recover their health.

I provide support services if you need assistance with: 

• Obtaining the correct tests & pursuing an accurate diagnosis
• Understanding specific health concerns
• Ongoing health and wellness coaching
• Community resources, including local support groups and social networks
• Health practitioner referrals in your area 
  
• Meal planning and nutritional support
• Hands-on gluten-free cooking and baking classes

An individual nurse-navigator session provides the help you need to go gluten-free, or to tackle special health challenges, like persistant anemia, problems maintaining an ideal weight, or healing a leaky gut.

An initial consult provides you with detailed information related to your specific health needs, follow-up email support, help with basic meal planning, and a copy of my Gluten-Free Portland Resource Guide. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive current and accurate information.

• Telephone and email health coaching may be arranged for those who live outside the Portland/Vancouver Metro area.
• I also offer education and resources for those with MS, Autism/Aspberger's, and others with neurological conditions in which a gluten- and dairy- free diet is often beneficial.

• Gluten Free Choice Consulting Fees:

*$125 for an initial consult, which may last up to 1 hr. 30 min.  
*$95  for additional 60-minute follow-up consultations (if needed)

Gluten Free Choice offers gluten-free and dairy-free cooking and baking instruction:

Call to arrange a group class offered locally in Portland, Oregon, or in your home (includes guidance in setting up a gluten-free kitchen) - See "Classes & Events" for schedule and fees.

Public Speaking:  30 to 60 minute talks on gluten-related health issues, followed by a question and answer period, up to an additional 30 minutes.  I also enjoy being part of a panel or forum on health issues.

Fees for public speaking will be arranged on an individual basis. Travel outside the Portland Metro area will be compensated at the allowed IRS rate.
